The Argaman Institute was established to serve as a home and intellectual incubator for learning, research, and writing on the core issues facing Israeli society.
The Institute’s programs enable students and scholars in the humanities to delve deeply into the best of conservative and classical liberal thought while receiving generous scholarships, allowing peace of mind and space for concentrating on the studies themselves. The Institute helps participants who seek to join broader circles of influence build the intellectual foundation they need.
Cultivating intellectual leadership steeped in the greatest texts of the Jewish, Israeli, and Western traditions
Argaman runs three programs for outstanding students and researchers in the social sciences and the humanities: the Exodus, Jerusalem, and Adam Smith seminars. Together participants plumb the depths of conservative and liberal thought, and receive a generous stipend encouraging probing research, original scholarship, and high-level writing. You can find more details at our website.
Open to researchers in the humanities, social sciences, and public policy, the Zion scholarship aims at supporting and encouraging research in Argaman’s core subject matter areas. These include conservatism, Zionism, political thought and Jewish political thought, strategy, and law. You can find more details at our website.
